Lamaze toys are developed around The Lamaze® Infant Development System® which inspires baby through three phases of development.
Stage 1 - Awakening of the Senses - birth to 24 months A newborn baby cannot see very far at all but can hear very well. Lamaze toys are designed to help develop the senses of sight, hearing and touch through the use of contrasting fabrics, soothing sounds and bold colours and patterns.
Stage 2 - Exploring and Experimenting - 6 to 24 months To develop motor skills and coordination, Stage 2 toys feature many elements for baby to explore and discover such as shapes, sounds, peek-a-boo flaps and music.
Stage 3 - Moving and Doing - 9 to 24 months Baby is more mobile now with better coordination. To continue fostering baby's cognitive, physical and social development, Stage 3 toys encourage actions such as sorting, crawling, and imaginative play.
